Roberto Zanon received his
architecture degree in 1989 and he has been listed on the Ordine degli Architetti of Padua since
1990; he consults in interior design,
restoration and architecture fields.
In industrial and product
design, he has provided professional advice since 1987 for
new products utilizing different materials
He
participated in several exhibitions with prizes and honourable mentions in many design
competitions.
Projects
and achievements in architecture and design fields are published on many Italian
and foreign magazines, catalogues, newspapers, books, serials TV, films and
Internet sites.
He has
interests in all the representation techniques and has explored,
not only the traditional tools, but the use of computer graphics, arriving to
use the computer as a active partner in the projectual process.

PROFESSIONAL
In 1995,
he co-founded "Y&Z design atrium", an
international and multidisciplinary design studio with offices in Italy, USA
and Japan.
In 1997
he became member of "MOBAS", a joint venture of product designers
from over the world organized to design and develop consumer products.
In 1998
he is founder associate of the "Gruppo di Ricerca e Design" (gRiD), society
working in the research and experimentation on the furniture field.
In 2000
he became member of “Wagner Associati” a consultancy agency of interior and
industrial design.
In 2002
he start a project partnership with the studio Zan’s in Hong Kong.
In 2003
he is involved in the project for the objects, the layout and the management of
the website designobject.it
In 2005 his studies
on perception and on contemporary jewels flow together in the exhibition “Locouture+RZ” in
Padova.
In
2007 his experiences of study and on the project of the contemporary jewels arrive to the ceramic jewels “Cellula
Z” (with Gaia
Zebellin).
The necklace collana
“Sette” , designed in 1999, belongs to the collection of the Museum of Fine arts, Boston (Usa).
In 2008
he designed the ”Sinapsi Compositive” a series of cards to develop the project
relationship between fashion and design
(with Isabella Bortolotto).
