2002 King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) a Bangkok Tailandia - Lessons and workshop Italian Design Close Up

Inside this University in Bangkok – where is the most important department of Industrial Design of Thailand – it was organized the seminar “Italian Design Update” coordinated by Prof. Torvong Puipanthavong. Through some lessons on Italian design there was also the opportunity to have an exchange of experience with the local design. Beside one workshop with a selected group of students had as subject a dismountable chair. The results was shown in an exhibition inside the Institute.

Presso questa università a Bankok che possiede il più attrezzato - in termini qualitativi e quantitativi – dipartimento di “Industrial Design” della Tailandia è stata organizzata la manifestazione “Italian Design Update” coordinata dal prof. Torvong Puipanthavong. Attraverso una serie di comunicazioni di carattere seminariale sul design italiano c’è stata l’opportunità di un confronto con la realtà del luogo. Attraverso un workshop aperto ad un selezionato gruppo di studenti è stata indagato il progetto di una seduta disaggregabile. I risultati sono stati poi presentati in un’apposita mostra all’interno dell’Istituto.
